Week 1

Emerson once said, "Our knowledge is the amassed thought and experience of innumerable minds".

I interpret this as, what we are taught, was once the journeys of the masses.

What we know about science is all thanks to the scientists and great thinkers of later days. What we know about literature is all thanks to the scribes who could record thoughts of enlightened people. What we see, what we do, what we learn is all thanks to people from previous decades. Its like we are the little brother to the rebellious society. Because society has done so many things, we now know the ending results and are able to learn from them and further teach the generations to come.
